The piSun identity belongs to the Patron. An organization controls only the relationship, role, or application for which it has authority.

Employee and member relationships

Two paths. One independent Patron identity.

Organizations participate only in the relationships and applications that concern them. Employers receive only information authorized for their participating service.

Patron-requested

A Patron requests an employer application.

The employer relationship awaits review.
piSun can notify the participating employer.
An authorized representative accepts or rejects the relationship.
Only an accepted relationship becomes active.

Rejection, no response, or expiration does not cancel the Patron's independent piSun identity.

Employer-sponsored

An employer initiates an opportunity.

An employer-sponsored invitation may identify the prospective employee before the individual creates or continues their piSun identity.
An existing Patron uses piSun Access, or a new person creates a piSun Identity.
The individual completes their own identity and enrollment requirements.
The employer accepts or rejects only its employee relationship.

The employer never creates or owns the person's independent piSun identity.
